StandardAero signs support center agreement with RainAir

StandardAero announced that it has signed a three year Support Center Agreement with RainAir Aircraft Services for engine maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) on the Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) PT6A engine. Under the terms of the contract, StandardAero will serve as the exclusive engine service provider to RainAir.

“Today’s Support Center Agreement is our first with RainAir,” said Rob Cords, Senior Vice President, Airlines & Fleets, StandardAero. “RainAir is a rapidly growing FBO servicing the Southeast United States. Our ability to effectively support their business growth provides a strategic advantage for them as well as strategic growth advantages for us. We are excited to be partnering with RainAir.”

Their reputation for service quality and experience provides us the ability to pass this level of expertise and service excellence directly to our customers.”

This is StandardAero’s first partnership with RainAir who selected StandardAero based on their reputation for service excellence. The agreement is exclusive for the state of Alabama with all line and heavy maintenance engine work up to Hot Section Inspection, being performed in the field or at StandardAero’s Maryville, Tenn. facility (respectively) and all engine overhauls conducted in Winnipeg, Man. RainAir Aircraft Services is located at the Albertville Regional Airport (8AO), in Albertville, Alabama.
