Representatives of the media are invited to attend the official opening of the new AéroCompétence Training Center of Institut de formation aérospatiale (IFA) in Laval on Nov. 28th.
Made possible by nearly $1 million in investments and contributions of equipment, material and human resources from IFA and Bombardier Aerospace, the training center brings to Laval and all of Quebec a new learning venue to better support the aerospace workforce.
IFA has supported the Quebec aerospace industry since 2005 by collaborating with businesses in skills development. Through its participation and corporate training IFA helps the industry develop a “culture of competency,” an essential element for all businesses, but especially small to medium sized enterprises, that strive to become and remain competitive players in the global aerospace supply chain.
