Avianor Inc. sells wheel and brake maintenance business to AeroRepair Canada Inc.

Avianor Inc. is pleased to announce that it has completed an agreement to sell its wheel and brake maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) business to AeroRepair Canada Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aero 3 Inc. of Londonderry, New Hampshire.
Avianor’s wheel and brake MRO facilities, located in Mirabel, Que. and Calgary, Alta., will join the Aero 3 network of four MRO locations across the United States, forming a strong North American wheel and brake MRO network.
“The sale of this division will allow the Avianor organization to focus its energy and resources on continued growth and development of its core cabin integration business,” said Earl Diamond, CEO of Avianor.
“All members of the Avianor wheel and brake team are looking forward to supporting and working with the AeroRepair Canada team to ensure their expansion into Canada is a great success,” added Avianor president and founder, Sylvain Savard. 
The transaction has now closed and has an effective date of Aug. 31, 2015. Terms and conditions remain private.
