Please join the Canadian Council for Aviation & Aerospace, CCAA, for a presentation of the preliminary results of the National Labour Market Information Study for the Aviation and Aerospace industries.

The CCAA will report on findings and allow industry to review and validate the data collected. The Aerospace Industries Association of Canada, (AIAC), and the Ontario Aerospace Council, (OAC), have offered their support for this study. This meeting is a follow-up to initial consultations with Ontario industry in the final quarter of 2014.

The presentation of the findings of the CCAA LMI Survey will focus discussion on the aerospace workforce – skills gaps and hiring challenges, ways to collect further data, and what is needed to meet growth forecasts.

CCAA would like to consult with visitors about:
•    Consortium development in their regions with key employers and post-secondary training institutions
•    Addressing industry needs as determined by the LMI Study and industry consultations by planning how to develop and implement innovative curriculum changes
•    Making sure that graduates are more work-ready by designing work-integrated learning programs
