Cadorath Aerospace is pleased to announce the addition of automated shot peen to its in-house capabilities.
“With the constant change to industry standards, the addition of automated shot peen to our in-house processing was very important to us,” says Roy Hartfiel, director of business development for Cadorath Aerospace.
The shot peen process induces compressive stress on aerospace components to counteract and remove the operational reactive stresses resulting in improved fatigue life.

“We have always prided ourselves on being a one-stop shop for our customers,” says Hartfiel. “We do everything we can to keep their costs and turn-around times to a minimum. By bringing automated shot peen in house, we can pass even more of these savings along to our customers.”
