Canada’s Transport Minister addresses international airport council

The Honourable Lisa Raitt, Minister of Transport, addressed an audience of international air industry leaders, top level decision-makers, and other airport professionals at the annual Airports Council International -North America Conference in Atlanta, Ga.
Minister Raitt discussed policy issues with her American and international counterparts and senior business leaders and the opportunities open to the Canadian and international aviation sector. The Minister also highlighted the importance of Canada’s continuing work with North American partners to ensure a safe, secure, efficient and environmentally responsible air transportation system.
Airports Council International – North America represents local, regional and state governing bodies that own and operate commercial airports in the United States and Canada.
