Legends Over London Jet Festival is taking place July 19 and 20 at the London International Airport. Organizers say the distinctive airshow plans to feature two days of exciting warbird flying routines, static ground displays, and various local food and merchandise vendors.
A different take on past airshows in the London area, Legends Over London Jet Festival is a smaller, more intimate event with limited tickets and limited parking available. Families and enthusiasts alike will be able to meet the pilots of the aircraft – both flying or on display – as well as enjoy some great food and drinks while taking in the flying.
“The Jet Festival is unique in Canada, in that we will be putting up five or more vintage Cold War jets,” says David Kreutzkamp, marketing director for the Jet Aircraft Museum. “Legends Over London will be one of the only flying displays in Canada to have so much loud, fast and thrilling, Cold War heavy metal in the air, all just for you London!”
The team at Legends Over London will release the full list of visiting and flying aircraft in the coming weeks. Those interested in receiving event updates by email – including being notified of ongoing updates on performers and ticket promotions – can sign up at legendsoverlondon.com
Tickets for the air show are only $10 for General Admission and $5 for a Child’s ticket. This is an unheard of price for an entirely jet show! Buy early to guarantee yourself a fun packed day at the show!
For those looking for an enhanced experience, look no further than the festival’s VIP or Photographers package. Just like the general tickets there is a limited amount of these passes available! The VIP and Photographic experiences are also competitively priced, and will get visitors up close to the performers, and many other great perks! VIP pricing is 40 per cent off until July 6th!
Families can come out and enjoy a great day at the airport, while supporting some of the community’s hardest working non-profit groups. The event will benefit local non-profit groups like London Health Sciences Foundation and the Jet Aircraft Museum, as well as other local organizations.
“Be ready to pack the family into the car to come out and join the Jet Aircraft Museum for the Legends Over London Jet Festival,” says Kreutzkamp. “Tickets are be extremely limited and are now available to be purchased online! So be sure to reserve the date and buy your tickets today!”
