Fast Air receives King Air STC approval

Fast Air Executive Aviation Services has announced receipt of Transport Canada supplemental type certification for installation of Garmin G1000 Integrated Avionics System and GFC 700 Automatic Flight Control System and Optional Garmin Electronic Stability and Protection on the Beechcraft 200 airframe in conjunction with the Avcon and Super 60 cargo belly pod systems. 
Dennis Lyons, Fast Air’s PRMC, stated, “This is yet another option available to King Air 200 operators, where we can combine the technological advantages of the Garmin G1000 Flight Deck with the versatility of a cargo pod system.” Dylan Fast, president of Fast Air added, “Fast Air’s factory authorized Garmin Installation Centre, in addition to our Centex Halo Up-gross modification capabilities, are again advancing our ability to provide King Air operators with tailored solutions to every mission profile.” 
Fast Air Executive Aviation Services have completed numerous G1000 King Air 200 Flight Deck upgrades, as well as multiple Halo Up-gross modifications, which add over 900 pounds to the max gross weight of the King Air.
