FlightPath announces appointment of Mike Giard to director, global sales and marketing, technical division and liaison to Bombardier

FlightPath is proud to announce that Mike Giard has joined the FlightPath team as director of global sales and marketing, technical division. In addition, based on his most recent experience, Mike has been assigned the role of Bombardier ATTP Liaison, ensuring dedicated oversight of this most important mandate for FlightPath International. 
With 35 years of military and civilian commercial and business aviation experience including nearly 25 years in the technical training arena, Mike brings expertise that will ensure customers can meet the ever changing and complex challenges of the aviation business. Mike’s keen sense of customer needs, combined with his deep, experience-based, understanding of the classroom environment makes him a crucial asset for FlightPath and their customers. 
Joining the Canadian Armed Forces as an Avionics Technician in 1979, Mike worked on the C-130 Hercules, Boeing 707, DH Buffalo, CH-147 Chinook helicopter and Challenger 600 and 601. In 1997, Mike joined Bombardier Aircraft Training as a CRJ instructor, where he soon after moved into management positions of increasing responsibility, at one point overseeing as the Chief Instructor of all of Bombardier’s commercial and business aircraft programs. An accomplished program and project manager, he most recently led the development of what is considered one of the most modern and adaptable Practical Training programs to meet the new EASA regulations. 
We are proud to welcome Mike to the FlightPath management team. He will be operating from the FlightPath corporate office in Alliston, Ont.
