Fly Jamaica Airways has commenced service to Toronto’s Lester B. Pearson International Airport, with its sole Boeing 757-200, leased from Air Guyana. The route was originally slated to begin in October, but was postponed several times. Here, the inaugural flight arrives in Toronto on Dec. 17, 2013. Fly Jamaica Airways is privately owned and started operations in September, with scheduled international service to New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport from Kingston’s Norman Manley International Airport in Jamaica, via Georgetown Cheddi Jagan Airport, Guyana. The 757 is configured with 12 business and 186 economy seats. Photo by Andrew H. Cline
