Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. has announced that Sheryl Bunton has been named the company’s chief information officer (CIO).
Bunton reports to Dan Clare, chief financial officer, Gulfstream.
Bunton is responsible for establishing and leading the delivery of technology solutions and strategies across the enterprise.
“Sheryl brings a tremendous amount of professional, industry and leadership experience to the CIO position,” said Clare.
“Her international background and ability to lead a worldwide information technology organization are critical as we continue to enhance our IT resources.”
Prior to joining Gulfstream, Bunton served as worldwide CIO for AGCO Corp., where she was responsible for managing more than 500 applications and a complex SAP environment.
Bunton also worked as the CIO for Southwire Company, a leading manufacturer of wire and cable, and as a general manager for MYTecSoft Inc., an SAP consulting firm.
