Hawkair is proud to announce the formation of its Women in Leadership Executive Development Program that supports the development of women in leadership roles within Hawkair. Jocelyn Lebell is the first executive to be selected for the program.
“This program combines three causes that we’re extremely passionate about; women in aviation, women in leadership and continuing education” said Jay Dilley, president of Hawkair.  “We are grooming the next generation of Executives and are proud to be part of changing the leadership landscape.”
The program is open to women in leadership roles or being considered for leadership roles within Hawkair who have been nominated and have accepted to be part of this rigorous 24-Month program.  Those selected for the program will focus on developing their own leadership style and preparing for various leadership roles within the organization.  Through being paired with a mentor from outside of the organization, participating in conferences, taking academic courses uniquely crafted for their situation, and taking on leadership assignments, the program participant gains valuable exposure to all areas of the business through theoretical and practical experiences.
“Jocelyn is a promising young executive who has demonstrated an ability to see how elements fit in a global context.” said Dilley. “We’re excited about the impact Jocelyn’s leadership will have on the organization as this skill set is deployed through rotating assignments as the director of corporate service, director of aviation services and director of airline”
“I am grateful and humbled to be selected as the first participant in Hawkair’s Women in Leadership Program” said Jocelyn Lebell, revenue manager “I look forward to learning from other facets of the company and broadening my experience.”
Jocelyn`s program roadmap includes continuing to pursue the CPA-CMA designation, an Airline Diploma, Executive Leadership Certificate, and sharing responsibility for helping people connect to the world around us through her leadership in three different business units over the next 24 months.
