Helitowcart is adding the new V1062 model to its Heli-Carrier line for wheeled helicopters. This addition was created to meet the specific needs of operators needing to move heavy helicopters on oil platforms fitted with landing nets. To meet such challenge this model is equipped with much larger pneumatic wheels to roll over such thick rope. This model features a corresponding extra powerful traction wheel motor needed for such demanding task. The V1062 also offers hooks at four corners for crane lift, quick disconnect handle for storage and a special marine environment coating. We are proud to announce that the test performed on landing net was successful. The V1062 is Ready to Roll!
The new V1062 HeliCarrier is part of the V1060 series; a branch of Heli-Carriers especially designed to handle wheeled helicopters by lifting and carrying their nose wheel. The V1060 series offers the same heavy duty construction and hydraulic system as the successful V1000s for skidded helicopters. The V1062 is designed to serve crew transport helicopters such as Sikorsky S92, Airbus Helicopters EC175 and EC225.
