Kochar becomes the 108th Canadian Airport Professional to attain the coveted Accredited Airport Executive designation through IAAE (Canada).
“The A.A.E. accreditation is a significant milestone in my continuing professional development. When I began the IAAE Canada’s accreditation process I didn’t consider it as a milestone – I believed it was the end…I realize now that it is not even close to the end. The accreditation process made me realize, that along with how much experience I thought I had – I also had a myopic understanding of the airport industry…I learned how much I didn’t know and I am just getting started. Earning the privilege to add A.A.E. to my moniker is my formal acknowledgement to my colleagues that I am a serious and committed contributor in the airport industry,” said Kochar.
Price is currently the manager, capital restoration projects, Greater Toronto Airports Authority. After successfully writing his management paper, Project Delivery and Capital Funding Options, Price attended and passed the accreditation interview. Price becomes the 109th Canadian Airport Professional to attain the coveted Accredited Airport Executive designation through IAAE (Canada).
“By obtaining my A.A.E. designation it demonstrates my airport knowledge to my peers and my ability to handle the responsibilities of airport management. It also validates my personal commitment to my career and profession within the aviation community,” said Price.
Yakimchuk is currently the airport duty manager, Kelowna International Airport. After successfully writing his management paper, Multilateration (MLat) – What it is and how it can benefit Aviation Industry Professionals in Canada, Yakimchuk attended and passed the accreditation interview. Yakimchuk becomes the 110th Canadian Airport Professional to attain the coveted Accredited Airport Executive designation through IAAE (Canada).
“The IAAE accreditation makes tangible, my years of experience in airport operations and management. The high standards set by IAAE Canada attaches credibility to my skill set. This accreditation allows our industry to have a professional designation specific to the management of Canadian airports. This accreditation attached to my name defines me as an airport management professional and will allow me to remain competitive in my industry,” said Yakimchuk.
