The International Association of Airport Executives Canada (IAAE Canada) has announced that the Facility, Operations and Airport Managers Conference (FOAM) has a mobile app that went live on April 30.
The mobile app will bring the experience at FOAM to a new level. Attendees will be able to see more, do more, and get more value out of the event—right from their mobile device.

“We are always trying to provide a better experience to our members and attendees of our Annual FOAM Conference, and especially this, our 20th anniversary year. This app will help attendees know what is going on with the flick of a finger right on their own devices,” said Tom Coupland, executive coordinator.

Features of the app include:

• The full event schedule sorted by day, speaker by event, and the trade show exhibitors and the ability to rate the sessions directly on the app
• Connect and exchange contact details with other attendees
• Share your event experiences on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
• Find session and exhibitor locations with maps of exhibit halls and session rooms
• See details about all of the exhibitors and sponsors
• See a full list of attendees
• Catch notifications about networking opportunities, contests, and other breaking event news pushed directly to your device

To download and install the app, click https://crowd.cc/foam-conference from your device. If you use Apple or Android, you can also search for the app in the iTunes store or Play store, Search out CrowdCompass Directory and download it. Inside you will find many apps; IAAE Canada’s is called FOAM-Conference. Click on it to open.

This app performs optimally on iPhone and Android devices whether or not there’s an Internet connection. When connected, the app downloads updates (like a schedule or room change). Once downloaded, all of the data is stored locally on the device so it’s accessible even if there’s no Wi-Fi.
