Innotech-Execaire Aviation Group, a member of the IMP Group, working in conjunction with its strategic partner, Aviation Supplies Ltd of Hong Kong, has concluded the acquisition and delivery of a pre-owned Citation CJ1+ to Tri star Aviation of China on Oct. 16, 2014.
Tri star is an Advanced Flight Training academy based in Chengdu, China. The candidate aircraft was found for them in Germany.  Innotech and Aviation Supplies have developed a strong working relationship dating back almost 30 years. The combined experience drawn from this relationship was instrumental in finding, purchasing, preparing and delivering the aircraft.
Innotech-Execaire supported the entire transaction from purchase offer and letter of intent through contract negotiations, pre-purchase inspection and completion of all required modifications, carried out at Cessna’s Service Centre, Dusseldorf, Germany. Change of registration, exportation and delivery to China were also handled by Innotech.
“Instrumental in the process was our excellent working relationship with Mr. Alfred Lau of Aviation Supplies,” said Innotech vice president, aircraft sales, Ray Kuliavas. “Alfred’s relationship with the team at Tri star ensured this sometimes complex transaction reached a successful conclusion, and we expect further success in serving the region.”
Alfred Lau, president of Aviation Supplies (HK) Ltd., said, “This initial sale demonstrates the fast-growing Chinese market for pre-owned business aircraft. Our partnership with Innotech means our ability to locate, prepare and deliver suitable aircraft is expanded, and this will benefit the Chinese market in the long run.”
