MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (“MDA” or the “Company”), a global communications and information company, has announced that it has been awarded a contract valued at CA$11.3 million with Canada’s Department of National Defence (DND) to provide an Unmanned Aerial Surveillance solution. The solution includes the delivery of The Raven-B unmanned aerial vehicles built by AeroVironment, MDA’s full-motion video exploitation tools, training, maintenance, and support services.
