Attendees to NBAA 2013, the annual Business Aviation Conference and Exposition, will have the opportunity to be the first in North America to experience the new Super Versatile Jet.

Following its unveiling at the European Business Aviation Conference and Exposition in Geneva, Switzerland last May, Pilatus Aircraft Ltd is putting its new flagship business aircraft mockup on the road to garner feedback from prospective customers around the world. Pilatus officials are eager to showcase the new Super Versatile Jet in what is anticipated to be the largest geographic market for the twin-engine business jet.

“We think the PC-24’s speed, range, cabin size, short-field performance, cargo door, and price represents a compelling combination unlike anything else in the business jet market. Given the overwhelming positive response we have heard since EBACE, we are excited to bring the PC-24 mockup to Las Vegas and give our prospective customers an opportunity to see it up close and in person,” said Markus Bucher, CEO of Pilatus Aircraft Ltd.

“The prototype PC-24 is currently under construction at Pilatus headquarters in Stans, Switzerland, and is scheduled to make its first flight in late 2014. A total of three aircraft will be used in the flight test program. Certification and first customer deliveries will occur in 2017.

Pilatus Aircraft Ltd plans to begin taking orders for the PC-24, and announce key launch customers, at the EBACE convention in Geneva, Switzerland in May, 2014”, says Oscar J. Schwenk, Chairman of Pilatus Aircraft Ltd.

Pilatus will exhibit the PC-24 mockup and a real PC-12 NG at their NBAA exhibit inside the Las Vegas Convention Center, display #C12216. After a short private event, the PC-24 mockup will be open to the public beginning at noon on Tuesday, October 22nd.
