Rockwell Collins has announced that it has signed on its 1,500th business aircraft for its Corporate Aircraft Service Program (CASP). The agreement was coordinated by Germany-based Rheinland Air Service, a Rockwell Collins-authorized dealer.
CASP offers corporate aircraft operators maintenance for avionics and cabin entertainment equipment. Rentals, exchanges, component repairs, comprehensive reliability upgrades, equipment removal and refit coverage are included. Consolidated annual billing, which is based on a forecast of annual operating hours received at the start of the annual program, covers each aircraft for an entire year.
CASP, as well as other service offerings from Rockwell Collins for air transport and defense customers, are being featured this week at the annual Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Europe 2014 conference.
“CASP is one of our fastest growing service offerings with 20 per cent growth over the past two years,” said Thierry Tosi, vice president and general manager, Service Solutions for Rockwell Collins. “The Rockwell Collins-authorized dealer network has been key to this success, which, with the network’s outstanding field support, has resulted in a 90-per cent renewal rate over the past five years. We sincerely thank Rheinland Air Service and our other valued CASP dealers and customers for their business and confidence in Rockwell Collins.”
“For a single fee, aircraft enrolled with CASP are assured the best worldwide parts support, while providing their owners the confidence of maximized asset value,” said Ingo Plückthun, director maintenance business aviation, Rheinland Air Service. “CASP is the best choice for putting the control of maintenance costs back into the hands of their users with the flexibility to adjust as the aircraft goes through its life cycle.”
