The Women in Leadership Executive Development Program focuses on developing women’s own leadership style and preparing participants for various leadership roles within the organization over a rigorous 24 months that includes leadership assignments, industry participation, mentoring and education.

“I am extremely excited to be accepted into the program and I’m looking forward to gaining knowledge within other areas, increasing my confidence by finding my leadership voice, and the journey of personal growth,” said Acheson, who is Hawkair’s safety systems manager. “My goal is to apply my increased skillset to other business units and be a high-performing leader within the company.”

Acheson’s program roadmap over the next 24 months includes earning her CRSP designation, education within Leadership and Management, roles within Strategy, Finance, Human Resources, and Operations and representing the company at safety and regulatory related conferences.
