Summit Aviation Group announces new executive appointments

The Summit Aviation Group today announced the appointment of Walter Heneghan, vice president, health, safety and environmental protection for Summit Air (fixed-wing) and Summit Helicopters, and Todd Tomecek as vice president, business development, Summit Helicopters.

Walter Heneghan brings with him over 35 years of aviation experience. Most recently, he was vice president, safety and quality with Canadian Helicopters Ltd.; he also served in the Canadian Air Force as a pilot in his early career, after graduating from Royal Military College with a Bachelor of Engineering degree.

Todd Tomecek has been working in the helicopter industry for over 20 years, and brings with him both operational experience and international sales and marketing experience. Most recently, he was the general manager of Afghanistan operations and director of flight operations for Western Canada for Canadian Helicopters Ltd.
