New this winter, Sunwing Vacations will provide direct weekly flights between the Region of Waterloo International Airport (YKF) and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The service will begin Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016, and continuing through March 23, 2017, connecting residents of Waterloo Region with the popular Caribbean vacation destination in just over three hours.
“We are thrilled to welcome Sunwing back to Waterloo Region for their eighth season,” said Chris Wood, general manager at the Region of Waterloo International Airport. “Punta Cana is one of our top international destinations, and the addition of Sunwing’s direct weekly departure will provide a great option for guests looking for a winter escape.”

For couples looking for a quiet escape, Sunwing’s Relax Resorts provide the perfect setting to unwind and reconnect with perks like a welcome cocktail, unlimited à la carte dining and discounted spa services.
