The Greater Toronto Airports Authority and The Source announced plans to open a The Source retail location at Toronto Pearson International Airport.

Positioned in Terminal 1, U.S. Departures, the kiosk will give passengers travelling through Toronto Pearson access to the latest in consumer electronics like top-brand headphones, streaming audio, accessories and a multitude of travel tech essentials.

“At Toronto Pearson, our goal is to provide an enhanced retail experience for our passengers by making it easy to shop for well-known Canadian brands,” said Janine Gervais, associate director, retail and food programs, GTAA. “The Source helps meet our passengers’ diverse needs by delivering innovative choices and name brands at prices that are the same as what’s available outside the airport.”

The kiosk will deliver a brand new interactive experience for consumers travelling through Pearson. The design includes an innovative open concept, use of interactive technology, and tech stations designed for customers to easily sample the latest technology. Shikatani Lacroix, an award-winning Toronto based retail design agency, designed this unique space, and the agency also works with The Source on the next generation design for its whole network of retail locations.

“With over 650 locations across Canada and thesource.ca, The Source has the largest consumer electronics footprint by far in Canada. This new retail venture will be our second airport location and is part of the continued evolution of The Source experience,” said Ron Craig, vice president, marketing and business development, The Source.

The location is scheduled to open this fall and will carry products from brands like Apple, Beats, Samsung, Sony and other popular brands.
