TrainingPort.net has released a suite of enhancements to its online training record system to further enhance value and ease of use.
With the click of a mouse, flight department training managers can now display comprehensive syllabi for all topics displayed in the training record. Another enhancement makes it easier to display trainee records for specific dates and flights, a key feature for those undergoing audits. Training managers can also view comprehensive exam reports for each trainee, including which questions were posed and how the individual scored.  This demonstrates data-driven training techniques inherent in the TrainingPort.net system, whereby trainees spend more time on weak areas until they demonstrate mastery. Managers can drill down into the comprehensive training archive to see exactly which topics and exam questions were assigned in previous years, when they were completed, and other relevant details. The design of the training record has been revamped to improve efficiency, with topics grouped into categories (e.g., Cold Weather Ops), and all dates and periodicities displayed clearly and simply.
These enhancements make it easier than ever for business aviation flight departments to keep track of their training schedule and performance, as well as assure auditors of trainee currency. TrainingPort.net will showcase their new system at the 2014 Canadian Business Aviation Association Convention & Exhition (CBAA 2014) in Edmonton, Alta.
