The Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre (WWFC) and Great Lakes Helicopter (GLH) are once again co-hosting “Aviation Fun Day”. Their goal is to connect with the community in the Waterloo Region by providing a free, family friendly aviation event; while at the same time presenting the opportunity to learn more about the various careers and the world of general aviation found at the Region of Waterloo International Airport in a fun and engaging way.
Aviation Fun Day 2014 is hosted in support of Hope Air.
Highlights include:
• Helicopter and airplane rides (Special Rate – portion of fee to be donated to Hope Air)
• Back-seat Harvard rides (Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association fee)
• Aviation Fun Day BBQ – hosted by Runways Café
• Big Blue Children’s Hangar activities (heli wheels, face painting, glider planes, RC heli demo and more!)
• Silent auction – all proceeds from Aviation Fun Day Silent Auction to benefit Hope Air
• General Aviation and Aviation Career Expo
Bring your family and friends for all the fun!
