FREE First flights for girls and women who have never been up in a small plane – Experience (Weather dependent)
** On-site registration for flights will start at 9am, first 150 to register **
Recognizing the need to raise awareness among girls and women regarding the world of aviation, the Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre, together with industry friends/partners will be hosting its 3rd Annual Women of Aviation Worldwide Event at the Region of Waterloo International Airport. The goal is to introduce girls and women across the region to the world of aviation and its many facets; and we invite you to join us and help spread the word.
Come out and meet two female CF-18 pilots, a rocket scientist, an aircraft maintenance engineer from Porter Airlines, an avionics technician and the director of flight operations from Trans-West Airlines. Hear their stories and meet them in person. Explore different careers in aviation and talk to real people doing those jobs at our hands-on aviation expo.
When: 
Saturday, March 7, 2015 – 9am to 4pm. Rain or Shine.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
Celebrating Women of Aviation Speakers Panel begins at 10:00 a.m. **Flights are weather dependent**

Airport Paid Parking is available onsite. (First 90 minutes free)
Admission is free. But attendees are asked to register to ‘save their seat’ for the speakers panel on our event webpage. http://www.wwfc.ca/celebrating-women-of-aviation-engage-experience-inspire/ Registration for the free flights will take place on site starting at 9am.

The Aviation Fun Day is a great way to learn more about the amazing world of aviation and get a backstage look at your local airport.
