Kelowna Flightcraft Ltd. (KF) is very pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract to upgrade the interior of the entire WestJet fleet of B737-600/700/800 aircraft. The program will include the removal of existing seatback monitors, installation of a state-of-the-art wireless entertainment system, which will also provide internet connectivity, and new comfortable slim line seats with in-seat power.
Kelowna Flightcraft currently provides WestJet with Structure Maintenance Visit (SMV) services and Scimitar Winglet installation for their B737 fleet. The prototype IFE, Seat and Power Aircraft has been completed. Full production and implementation of the Program will commence in January 2015, and run continuously until the completion of over 100 aircraft modifications. As a result of this additional work, KF will be providing a minimum three lines of nose-to-tail service capabilities for WestJet.
WestJet Airlines is one of Canada’s most successful and respected airlines. Kelowna Flightcraft looks forward to this new contract, and to its expanding relationship with WestJet Airlines.
