Embraer said it delivered 47 jets in the second quarter of 2024, including 27 executive aircraft and 19 commercial planes, ushering in a massive increase in revenue.

The Brazil-based manufacturer said it also delivered one multi-mission C-390 Millennium military transport aircraft and posted US$1.494 billion in second-quarter revenue.

This increase in deliveries saw revenues rise by 67 percent in comparison to the previous quarter, Embraer said. The planemaker delivered only 25 aircraft in the first quarter of 2024.

Adjusted earnings before interest and taxes reached US$138.8 million in 2Q24 with a 9.3 percent margin.

Embraer’s adjusted free cash flow—excluding its Eve eVTOL division—was negative US$215 million because of  “working capital needs to support higher number of deliveries in the second half of 2024.”

The company said its firm order backlog is valued at $US21.1 billion, a seven-year high.
