Tuitt has over 25 years of experience in sales, marketing and commercial management in the aerospace industry and has held management positions with such companies as Rolls-Royce Canada, Pratt & Whitney Canada and Discovery Air Technical Services.
Most recently, Tuitt held the position of vice president of sales and marketing at Discovery Air Technical Services and at AvCraft Technical Services in Myrtle Beach, Calif., where his initiatives contributed directly towards the rapid growth of their customer base, related sales revenues and profit margins. As director of commercial at Rolls-Royce Canada, he was responsible for the management of all customer contractual agreements associated with approximately $500 million in business volume. At Pratt & Whitney Canada, he was a senior sales executive for 8 years, during which time revenues grew from $450 million to $1.2 billion per year. Tuitt’s industry knowledge and experience will be a definite asset to Avianor.
