De Havilland Canada welcomes newest customer in Kyrgyzstan

Manas International Airport’s purchase of two Dash 8-400 series aircraft, manufactured by De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited, is the newest addition to the airport’s operation and will be integrated into its fleet in May 2024.

Kyrgyzstan’s main international airport, working through De Havilland Canada, purchased the pair of Dash 8-400s which are the first aircraft for the new start-up, and will be the foundation for future growth and expansion.

The aircraft will be customized with drop down oxygen and the capacity to fly 80 passengers comfortably and comes coupled with De Havilland Canada’s customer support program that will ensure its long-term operation in the fleet.

The addition of Manas International Airport as another important customer for Canada’s most prestigious legacy aircraft manufacturer, De Havilland Canada, will grow Manas’ domestic market and solidify destinations across the Kyrgyzstan nation. De Havilland Canada said it is thrilled to be a partner in their continued success.
