Elevate Aviation announces 2020 bursary recipients

On February 1st, Elevate Aviation announced their 2020 Bursary Recipients.

A career in aviation means extensive training, which can be very costly. Understanding the
the financial challenge, Elevate Aviation offers bursaries to help fund aviation career training.

With an overwhelming number of applications, we have selected four ladies who are truly
passionate about aviation, have incredible stories and have given back to their
communities in a big way.

The following women were selected as the Elevate Aviation 2020 Bursary Recipients:

  • Madeline Ungurain a Commercial Pilot student from Squamish, BC
  • Jordyn Nickerson an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer student from Edmonton, Alberta
  • Alexis Thind a Commercial Pilot student from Whistler, BC
  • Laura Matheson a Multi-Engine IFR student from Gloucester, ON
