MedAire, Inc. an International SOS company, is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, and was founded in 1985. MedAire provides integrated travel risk management solutions, including onboard medical kits and the ground-based medical advisory service MedLink. Their services also include security intelligence, crew support, real-time health and security advice, training, and medical equipment for commercial and private aircraft. Their mission is to provide expert medical, security and operational support to ensure the safety of travelers and assets.
VSE Aviation was founded in 1959 and is headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia. VSE provides aftermarket services for aerospace, defense and fleet customers. VSE Aviation, the largest business segment, supports global aftermarket customers with parts distribution and MRO services for components and engine accessories for business, general aviation, commercial, cargo, military and rotorcraft customers.
And Battery Aero is headquartered in Mountain View, California, and was founded in 2022. They are focused on building advanced battery systems for electric aviation and are part of a federally funded ARPA-E program developing battery systems for eVTOL aircraft.
Elroy Air is headquartered in San Francisco, California, and was founded in 2016. The company is developing the Chaparral – an uncrewed, transitioning lift-plus-cruise vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft to deliver cargo rapidly and flexibly by air (300-500lbs, 300miles). Elroy Air’s mission is to improve quality of life around the planet by expanding the reach of express logistics via air cargo at a cost and environmental impact lower than today’s airplanes.
H55 is headquartered in Sion, Switzerland. They are a leading provider of electric propulsion solutions and battery pack systems with the mission of enabling the aviation industry to reach net zero CO2 emissions by 2050. Transcend Air is headquartered in Carlisle, Massachusetts, and was founded in 2017. They design and manufacture a family of high-speed tiltwing vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft based on the Vy 400. Their mission is to bring the promise of fast (400+ mph), affordable and safe civil VTOL flight within everyone’s reach and enable a new regional city-center to city-center Aerial Regional Transport (ART) service.
