Pilatus launches iPad Delivery Program for the PC-12 NGPilatus Business Aircraft Ltd., manufacturer of the PC-12 NG, the world best-selling turboprop business aircraft, is reinventing the aircraft delivery and ownership experience with the launch of its new iPad delivery program. Pilatus is the world first aircraft manufacturer to offer such a program to its customers.

Starting in February 2011, new owners of the Pilatus PC-12 NG will receive an Apple iPad containing interactive content customized to each owner individual aircraft, as well as delivery documents, owner manuals and a variety of useful aviation apps all designed to enhance Pilatus’ long-standing reputation for superior customer service and satisfaction.

Not only does the new program simplify the delivery process for our owners, it also reflects their affinity for leading-edge technology.

Each iPad comes pre-loaded with the Pilots Information Manual (PIM), an introduction to the company and the PC-12 NG, and key delivery documents. Also included is customized content documenting the manufacture, assembly and completion of each owner particular aircraft, as well as useful aviation apps such as Fore Flight, My Radar Pro and others. This is just the first step, Bosshard says. Pilatus will continue to develop the program to make delivery, service and flight planning even easier for our customers.

Since its introduction in 1994, the PC-12 has steadily grown in sales and success to become one of the top selling turbine-powered business aircraft in the world. The versatile PC-12 performs many roles worldwide, including executive transport, commuter, air ambulance, police and border surveillance, cargo, and regional airliner.
