Have you ever wondered about learning to fly as a hobby or a career? Here is a chance to find out what is involved in getting a pilot’s licence!
Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre (WWFC) is hosting a FREE Open House on Saturday, October 1st from 10:00am-2:00pm. The event is open to anyone interested in aviation and thinking about getting their pilot’s licence. Attendees can take a tour of the flight centre, see the aircraft, speak with flight instructors, and find out how to make their dreams of flying a reality. Introductory flights are available for purchase throughout the day, weather permitting.
The Flight Centre will be giving away a FREE INTRODUCTORY FLYING LESSON to one lucky visitor so they can experience flight firsthand!
“This is a great opportunity for those who have thought about getting their pilot’s licence, but don’t know where to start.” says Bob Connors, WWFC’s General Manager. “We have a variety of programs available for those interested in flying as a career or recreational courses for pilots who want to fly for fun. We’ve had many people come for an introductory flying lesson and they get hooked! They sign up for the next ground school available. Also, if you already have a licence and need recurrent training, come speak with us and we can help you.”
Admission is free, no registration is required! Parking is available onsite. Runways Café will be open during the Open House serving breakfast and lunch.
From introductory and scenic flights to our College and University affiliated aviation programs, to our Modular and ATPL programs; WWFC has something for every aviation enthusiast. The Open House is a great way to learn more about the world of aviation and how to obtain a pilot’s licence.
