PASCAN is launching a fall campaign “Fall In Love With PASCAN’s Direct Flight” to promote their new Moncton, N.B., to St. John’s, N.L., direct route and is announcing an introductory price of $650 for one round-trip ticket, plus HST. The new low fare is available immediately for travel when the company launches its new direct route beginning Oct. 10, 2013 and the introductory price will run through Dec. 21, 2013. Passengers can contact their travel agencies to obtain this rate or visit www.PASCAN.com.

Since 1999, PASCAN has offered safe, reliable air travel throughout Quebec, New Brunswick and Newfoundland/Labrador. The Sept. 10 announcement of their new direct route was a result of a study conducted in St. John’s where business owners were surveyed, and the appeal and demand for a direct St. John’s to Moncton flight was tremendous. Talks between both airports and PASCAN ensued and as a result, PASCAN, known as the People’s Regional Airline, felt the addition of this route was in line with the company’s overall vision for its development strategy.

The company will offer complimentary onboard services on this route, which includes a light meal and snacks. This was appealing to passengers who are interested in having more of an opportunity to return home in the evening. The schedule for the new direct flight will depart Greater Moncton International Airport at 7:00, arrive St. John’s, 9:30 (local) with the return flight scheduled to depart St. John’s International Airport at 18:00 (local) and arrive Moncton 19:30 (local).

PASCAN’s General Manager, Julian Roberts stated, “If the demand is there, we will be prepared to expand our service in those regions. PASCAN seeks to work with the local communities we service to offer a product they’ll use. Our promise to them is we commit to offering a safe reliable service, we offer consistent pricing regardless of our success, we never overbook any of our flights and we are dedicated to being a part of the communities we serve.”
