Bell Helicopter announces new regional sales manager in Western Canada

Bell Helicopter, a Textron Inc. company, has announced a new addition to the Western Canada team. Effective immediately, Frank Carmichael will assume the role of regional sales manager in Western Canada, responsible for overseeing marketing and sales activities within Canada. 
“We are excited to welcome the newest member to the Bell Helicopter family. Carmichael is ready to assume important new responsibilities,” said Anthony Moreland, Bell Helicopter’s managing director of North American sales. “We look forward to the great contributions he will make to our company.”  
Frank brings 39 years of aviation experience to the Bell Helicopter Canada team. He is proud to have served as a pilot for some of Canada’s founding helicopter operators on all aircraft weight classes in the civil aviation market. Frank also owned and operated an Air Taxi service situated in Canada’s western Arctic for 10 years. He has maintained an active business presence in Western Canada, including offshore operations in Canada’s Arctic. A significant part of Frank’s recent business activities includes providing transportation solutions for major oil and gas service providers as they continue to explore in Canada’s western frontier. With pilot experience ranging from the Arctic to South America, Frank is proficient at flying helicopters in diverse environmental conditions. He first began his career in aviation in his hometown Inuvik, N.W.T., and he continues to carry on his family career path which dates back some 60 years. He currently resides in Edmonton, Alta.
