15 Wing Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, invites all past and present Tutor instructors, technicians, students and demonstration pilots, honoured guests, and the general public to attend the 50th anniversary of the CT-114 Tutor Oct. 3 to 4, 2014.
For 50 years, the CT-114 Tutor has not only trained Canadian and international pilots, but has been the vehicle with which the Royal Canadian Air Force showcases our training successes to the world. This year we honour this iconic Canadian aircraft, and celebrate its continuing history. To do so, we have planned a weekend of festivities, events, and social gatherings at 15 Wing.
15 Wing has organized a base tour, static display, a mixed formation Tutor fly past, “TGIF” evening, and a dinner and dance for the event. Attending guests will have the extra treat of being onsite for the Snowbirds Year End Show.
Weekend events include the opportunity to visit local haunts in Moose Jaw including the Tunnel Tours, the Western Development Museum, and a chance to experience prairie golfing at its finest.
Tutor fans are invited to submit their Tutor photos (past or present) online for inclusion in the celebration slide show. For more information on the entire event or to register, please visit: www.tutor50th.ca.
