Panama-based Copa Airlines started its four times weekly service into Montréal-Trudeau Airport on June 3, with its Boeing 737-700. Flight 423 will operate Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, departing at 9:30 a.m. from Montreal. Flight 422 departs Panama at 6 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, arriving in Montreal at 12:49 a.m. Due to demand, the flight will be serviced by the larger Boeing 737-800 beginning in August. This is Copa’s second Canadian destination; the airline has been flying to Toronto’s Pearson International Airport since 2011.
