EcoServices and Vector-Hawk Aerospace are pleased to sign a teaming agreement for the launch of a new version of the EcoPower engine cleansing system. This new engine cleansing system is specially developed for all international and domestic customers of commercial and military PT6 turboprop engine-powered aircraft.

This teaming agreement culminates 12 months of joint development and testing resulting in a customized version of the EcoPower system.  The new product is an extension of the patented EcoPower large cleansing system, which was hailed as the 2012 Eco-Technology product of the Year at the Air Transport Eco-Aviation awards event. Today, there are more than 30,000 PT6 engines in the world, which represents a market of considerable potential.

The newly-developed version of the EcoPower engine cleansing system will allow for maximum performance for the PT6 engine – it uses only deionized, heated, atomized water for maximum cleaning efficiency.  The patented EcoPower atomizing nozzles ensure maximum penetration of the water throughout the engine.  The system is designed for fast, repeatable, tool-free setup without risk of foreign object damage.  It captures and purifies the water for re-use, eliminating ground contamination and conserving fresh water.  This combination of features makes the EcoPower system ideal for engine cleansing at commercial or government sites worldwide.

“We are excited about this opportunity to expand the use of the EcoPower engine cleansing system to the global PT6 engine market,” said William Welch, president, EcoServices, LLC. “Our customers can be assured this collaboration will give them outstanding and efficient engine cleaning technology that will improve engine performance, protect the environment, and reduce their aircraft operating costs.  They will get the benefit of the superior support capability of our partner companies.”

Mike Nowicki, president, Vector-Hawk Aerospace, further adds, “Our teaming agreement is a continuation of Vector-Hawk Aerospace efforts to offer our commercial and government customer’s eco-friendly technical innovations to improve their engine time on wing, increase operational availability, and provide preventative maintenance options that can be used anywhere they may be located.”

The signature of this teaming agreement is the coming together of two leading companies in the aerospace industry – EcoServices and Vector-Hawk Aerospace; the former is a joint venture company between Vision Technologies Aerospace and Pratt & Whitney Line Maintenance Services whilst the latter is a joint venture company between Vector Aerospace and BlackHawk Modifications.
