Innotech Aviation’s engineering and design departments have developed a new, proprietary concept in cabin lighting systems, initially being incorporated in Bombardier Global series business jets.
The Montreal completion center has applied Swarovski crystals to its variable-color LED cabin lighting systems to create a unique, industry-first lighting environment. The first application/installation is currently in progress, and slated for customer delivery later this season.
Gesse Sciacca, Innotech director of avionics engineering, said, “We are unique in the application of Crystal Lighting in business jet aircraft. Combining infinitely-variable color and brightness LED systems, the cabin interior mood can be tailored and controlled by passengers or flight crew with ease.”
The new, ultra-thin Crystal Lighting System can be installed in the sidewalls, headliners or bulkheads, and applied to any flat or curved surface. The headliner design includes multiple large curved lighting surfaces to create a spectacular, animated crystal overhead lighting design option.
“As a true custom-completion center our job is to design, develop, engineer and integrate industry firsts for long range, one-of-a-kind business aircraft, specifically Global series jets,” Sciacca added. “ Our international clientele recognizes our capabilities, and put us top-of-the-list for their custom completions.”
