In January, Murphy Aircraft Manufacturing Ltd. started production on another run of their popular kitplanes, the Rebel and Rebel Sport. Last month, Murphy announced completion of that run. Patterson AeroSales, who handle all Murphy kit sales and marketing, is now accepting orders for delivery positions in a new run of 10 kits.
As always, these Rebel kits are complete from the firewall back, and include Murphy wheels & brakes, windshield, and all parts necessary to complete your Rebel. They feature pre-punched skins, and all welded parts are completed and powder coated at the factory. The basic kit price is $24,739 CAD.
Bob Patterson, president of Patterson AeroSales, said, “Kit deliveries in the new batch are expected to begin within about 12 to 18 weeks from the start of the production run, as soon as the 10 orders are confirmed.” We have been producing all of our popular kits, including amphibious floats, in runs of 10 kits for over 5 years now, and the process works well.
“Murphy Aircraft is one of the oldest kit manufacturers, and we are pleased to represent them” he said, stating that they have shipped more than 2,000 kits over the last 28 years, and have happy customers all over the world.
