Porter Airlines is back with service to three popular seasonal destinations this coming winter and spring – Mont Tremblant, Que., Burlington, Vt., and Myrtle Beach, S.C.
First up is the prime winter destination of Mont Tremblant, with as many as 13 weekly flights from Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, and weekly from New York-Newark. Nestled in the Laurentian Mountains, the Tremblant village is a great base for accessing ski hills and other regional activities.
Toronto flights begin Dec. 6, with peak frequencies in February and March, and New York-Newark on Dec. 19. Flights on both routes end April 6.
Another popular location for snow is Vermont, with access to great resorts throughout the Green Mountain State, such as Stowe, Sugarbush, Smugglers’ Notch, Jay Peak and Killington. Fly into Burlington, Vt., and take advantage of shuttle buses to access each resort, or try boutique options off the beaten path.
Fly up to four times weekly from Dec. 15 to April 6.
A change of pace is available in Myrtle Beach. Escape the snow and get a head start on your golf game, stroll along the boardwalk, or enjoy regional cuisine.
There are more flights than ever this season, including daily service for two weeks over March Break. Flights are available up to six times weekly outside of this period, with the complete schedule running from Feb. 14 to May 19.
