Due to an overwhelmingly favorable response to the upcoming Seminar “Harnessing the Power of Your Satellite Data to Enhance Safety, Efficiency & Compliance” (Jan. 21-22, Frankfurt Germany) , a larger conference room has been booked and more hotel rooms have been reserved at the Sheraton Frankfurt Airport Hotel & Conference Center. As a result of the larger facilities, Seminar registration dates have been extended to Jan. 6, 2014.
The Seminar, hosted by SkyTrac Systems Ltd, will focus on the use of flight data in aviation operations – ranging from SMS/FDM programs to crash hardened memory technology. The Seminar’s key note speaker is Dan Mercer, Iridium vice president for Europe, Middle East, Africa & Russia who will address future satellite technology. SkyTrac will provide a snapshot of state-of-the-art transceiver and data storage/data transfer technology. Guest speakers will include representatives from EuroAvionics, DRF, and Ruag who will present a variety of use cases, avionics systems, and FDM programs. The Seminar will have attendees from oil and gas, police and security, EMS operations, as well as aircraft OEMs, avionics OEMs, and FDM companies.
“We are delighted with the positive response to this Seminar. The focus will be on the open exchange of ideas and best practices in flight data technology and operations,” commented Brian O’Flynn, VP sales SkyTrac Systems. “It’s a fantastic opportunity to bring stakeholders together from all aspects of the community and learn from each other’s experiences and perspectives.”
