Skye Avionics of Campbell River, B.C., has completed the first installation in the world of the Freeflight 1201 GPS WAAS receiver integrated with the Garmin GTX330 ES Transponder.
“The installation went very well and the systems worked flawlessly together” commented company president, Ryan Evans. “This combination will provide customers looking to upgrade to be ADS-B compliant with a simple and cost effective way to do so.” As soon as the software was approved our unit was shipped and installed immediately. The customer was very pleased with the integration and ease of use and they will be adding this combination to the rest of their fleet.
With our pre-made kits we are able to provide customers with numerous avionics packages and options that can be easily installed at their facilities. This includes a complete kit for the Garmin GTX 330 ES, Freeflight 1201 GPS Sensor and an encoder.
