Skyservice hires Geoff Carlyle as director of business development

Skyservice, Canada’s leading private jet Management, Chartering, Maintenance and Fixed Base Operation (FBO) company, announces the appointment of Geoff Carlyle to the role of director, business development – Western Region. Carlyle will be based out of Skyservice’s Calgary, Alta. location managing Charter Sales, Business Development and Client Services for Western Canada.  
Skyservice’s CEO and president, Marshall Myles, said “the time was right to add a senior team member to our Western business operations – adding talent of this caliber further emphasizes our commitment to our customers and our growth strategy.”
Carlyle joins Skyservice with over 10 years in Business aviation.  His previous roles were Charter sales manager at Sunwest Aviation Ltd and base manager/senior account executive at North Cariboo Air.  Carlyle said “I have always had a tremendous amount of respect for Skyservice.  Their customer-first approach and dedication to safety is admired by the aviation community and I look forward to being a part of such a vibrant and passionate group of people.” 
Carlyle has attended both Edmonton Flight College and the Saskatchewan Institute of Technology and has been a Private and Commercial pilot since 1995.  He holds active memberships with the Edmonton and Calgary Chambers of Commerce, the CBAA and the Calgary Airport Business Association (CABA) and is the former director of the Northern Alberta Transportation Club (NATC).
