That is why our Government is committed to fighting this terrorist group while also providing humanitarian assistance to those affected by ISIL’s horrendous acts of evil. I am very proud of our Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and the work they are doing to promote a safer, more secure world for us and for future generations.
“I am pleased to announce that this morning, our Government received confirmation from the Government of Kuwait to allow Canada to use their facilities for our operations in Iraq. Our CAF reconnaissance team continues to do tremendous work in arranging the logistical details to support our mission and the Government looks forward to sharing more information as it becomes finalized.
