Transat A.T. Inc., one of the world’s largest integrated tourism companies and Canada’s holiday travel leader, welcomes the introduction of the Government of Canada’s CAN+ program, which will ease restrictions and make it easier for visitors from Mexico to enter Canada. Through its subsidiaries, including Jonview Canada, the country’s leading incoming tour operator, Transat makes it possible for travellers from all over the world to come and discover Canada.
“We congratulate the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, Chris Alexander, and the federal government on this decision, which will aid the development of Canadian tourism. This is an important step that we hope will lead to the complete elimination of the current visa requirement for Mexican travellers,” said Jean-Marc Eustache, president and chief executive officer, Transat A.T. Inc.
