WestJet Encore’s new twice-daily, non-stop service between Vancouver and Terrace, B.C. began with a kick-off at the Vancouver International Airport and ceremony in Terrace-Kitimat’s Northwest Regional Airport.

WestJet Encore’s newest service, using Bombardier Q400 NextGen aircraft, is anticipated to benefit the entire northwest region of the province. The Skeena Valley is undergoing a major economic transformation with billions of dollars in investment in forestry, mining, smelting, hydroelectricity, liquefied natural gas and infrastructure projects. The Terrace-Kitimat corridor represents an exciting expansion opportunity for WestJet’s recently launched regional carrier, and for the many projects heading to the area.
