WestJet non-stop Orlando service returns to YKF

The Region of Waterloo International Airport, in conjunction with WestJet, have announced the return of non-stop, seasonal weekly service, between Waterloo Region (YKF) and Orlando, Florida (MCO).  
“Orlando continues to be one of our top destinations and the return of WestJet’s weekly non-stop service is fantastic news,” said Chris Wood, general manager at the Region of Waterloo International Airport. “WestJet has serviced our community since 2007 allowing residents to enjoy the convenience of local air service and fly from home. We would like to thank WestJet for their continued investment in Waterloo Region along with every guest that has made the choice to fly through our airport.”
WestJet’s Orlando service will operate weekly on Tuesdays, starting January 24, 2017, and will continue through April 25, 2017. Seats are now available for purchase on westjet.com or through a travel agent.
“We are pleased to once again offer our guests in the Waterloo Region great fares and non-stop flights to Orlando, one of WestJet’s most popular destinations,” said Lee Lipton, director of network and schedule planning. “We appreciate the support of our loyal guests and look forward to helping them make great vacation memories at Walt Disney World Resort or any of the amazing array of theme parks in the area.”
The Region of Waterloo International Airport is home to 25 businesses that collectively employ over 300 people, and together contribute over 90 million dollars annually to Waterloo Region’s economy.
