SPP Canada Aircraft Inc signs MOU with Lufthansa Technik AG and Hawker Pacific Aerospace

SPP Canada Aircraft, Inc. (“SPPCA”), an aircraft landing gear system supplier, concluded a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a business alliance with industry leading Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) companies Lufthansa Technik AG and its subsidiary, Hawker Pacific Aerospace (“HPA”).
The parties are aiming at bringing together SPPCA’s design and manufacturing know-how and Lufthansa Technik’s MRO capability.
“A business alliance with MRO heavyweights Lufthansa Technik and HPA strengthens our position to provide comprehensive and reliable aftermarket support to all of our customers” said SPPCA’s vice president and COO, Masayuki Onishi. “Additionally, as we look to the future, joint bidding on new programs will reaffirm our competitive advantage in the industry.”
Lufthansa Technik’s Vice President Aircraft Systems Andreas Tielmann added: “We are thrilled to add SPPCA to our partners and look forward to build a strong relationship with them, relying on and accepting each other’s strengths.”
